The Stellar Industries 11989S Rear Stabilizer is a heavy-duty hydraulic stabilizer system designed specifically for compatible Knapheide crane bodies. Rated for crane applications up to 55,000 ft-lbs, this weld-on stabilizer provides hydraulic outward extension and hydraulic downward deployment to improve stability during crane operation.
The hydraulic-out/hydraulic-down configuration allows the stabilizer to extend away from the truck body and lower to the ground using hydraulic power, helping transfer crane loads to the ground and reduce chassis and service body movement during lifting.
What This Part Is Used For
The Stellar 11989S rear stabilizer is used on compatible Knapheide crane bodies to provide additional support during crane operation. It hydraulically extends outward and lowers to the ground to create a wider, more stable support footprint for heavy lifting applications.
Common Reasons For Replacement
Existing stabilizer is bent or structurally damaged

Hydraulic-down function is malfunctioning
Ground-contact components are bent or damaged
Welded mounting structure is cracked or distorted
Excessive corrosion has weakened the assembly
Crane body is being rebuilt or upgraded
