Receptionist / Front Office Assistant

We are seeking a part time reliable receptionist to handle incoming phone calls, route calls to the appropriate departments, and support basic office operations. This role is the first point of contact for customers and vendors, so professionalism, accuracy, and consistency matter.

Requirements

  • Clear and professional phone communication skills

  • Strong listening skills and attention to detail

  • Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel)

  • Ability to stay organized and handle multiple calls/tasks

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude


Preferred (but not required):

  • Prior receptionist or front desk experience

  • Experience in a service, automotive, or equipment-related business

  • Familiarity with multi-line phone systems

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally

  • Transfer calls to the correct person or department

  • Take accurate messages when staff are unavailable

  • Greet walk-in customers and direct them appropriately

  • Perform basic office tasks such as filing, data entry, scanning, and organizing documents

  • Assist with light administrative duties as needed

  • Maintain a clean and orderly front office area
